Four Paws fundraiser

Despite the chilly winter afternoon, a group of Year 4 children and our Year 6 charity leaders brightened the day with a wonderful charity event on Monday. This group of children were keen to raise money for our four-legged friends around the world by supporting the charity Four Paws!
The children set up a vibrant store where they had made goodies for sale, including cookies, cupcakes, lemonade, bracelets, candles, and even a lucky dip. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and a real mix of items for people to buy.
A massive thank you to all the parents who supported with the hours of cooking, baking, and general preparation for this lovely event! Of course, well done to the Year 4 group who used their initiative to plan and organise the fabulous store and thank you to our Year 6 charity leaders for your help and support. It was great to see the children working entirely independently to pull it off on the day.
