Posted: 7th February 2024
The Reception children embarked on an exciting outdoor adventure as they participated in the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch. Equipped with handmade binoculars, the young explorers walked to priory eager to observe various bird species and tally their findings. This activity not only engaged them in the fascinating world of bird watching but also introduced them to the concept of data collection and observation skills. The children came across budding crocuses, listened to the birds chirping, and found mini beasts, enjoying a sensory-rich experience that was filled with discovery and appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.
