Voices of Hope charity concert

Posted: 20th December 2024

Our combined Junior House choir children (Middle and Upper School) performed at Kings Gate Church in Kingston, as we were invited to attend a charity concert for ‘Voices of Hope.’ This is the first time the school has been involved with a charity event offsite and it was a success, enjoyed both by the children and also by parents who were part of a supportive audience.

We had an almost 30-strong children for this event who performed Christmas favourites: Jingle Bell Rock, Winter Wonderland, Merry Xmas Everyone (with sign language) and Jingle Bells. The choir not only conducted themselves in a professional manner, they also sang with total confidence, energy, and gusto.

This concert was for a wonderful cause: Voices of Hope’, a locally founded charity which undertakes wonderful work in the local community, including food banks, and helping those who have suffered through illness and trauma, build up confidence through singing. We were delighted to help support them as a school and thank parents for their generous donations.
